Promoting efficiency of liquid–liquid extraction at a high pH is main challenge for the recovery volatile fatty acids (VFAs) from organic wastes. In this study, VFAs artificial solution and acidification fermentation broth kitchen wastes using ionic liquids (ILs) was assessed pH.
